A native of Boston, Massachusetts currently living in Naperville, Illinois.  Tom’s career has spanned manufacturing, information technology, strategic planning, change management, and process improvement disciplines.

In 2018, Tom retired as Chief Information Officer after 25 years and he now works full time in the field of environmental, social, and climate education and activism.  He joined the Climate Reality project in 2019 and the Chicago Metro chapter in 2020.  Tom received his Climate Reality Leadership Corps training in 2020 and he mentored a team through similar training in 2021.

Tom chairs the Chicago Metro Chapter’s Presentations Group and the Electric Vehicle Campaign Task Force.  Tom is also a member of the Electric Vehicle Association and the Naperville Sustainability and Environmental Task Force (NEST).  Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, is a Certified Change Management Professional, and is a Certified Business Process Master.

Tom conducts environmental research and presents and writes on topics related to the climate crisis and its solutions.  His specialty is focused on solutions such as electric vehicles (EVs), solar power, and many other common solutions to the climate crisis.
